Aristocal D from Beximco Pharma & Generic is Calcium Carbonate 500mg + Vitamin D3 200IU. This medication is used to treat and prevent osteoporosis, osteomalacia, tetany, hypoparathyroidism, and osteogenesis disorders. Also used as a supplement in cases of insufficient calcium intake in childhood nutrition, rickets, pregnancy and lactation, and geriatric people. Other uses include pancreatitis, phosphate binder in chronic renal failure.
Indications of Aristocal D Tablet
The combination is used to treat osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, hand and foot spasms, and parathyroid diseases. Calcium supplements are commonly used to ensure adequate dietary intake during pregnancy and lactation, bone formation and the formation of teeth (with definitive treatment), and antiepileptic medications. Also used as a regular supplement for chronic kidney failure and phosphate chelator
Pharmacology of Aristocal D Tablet
This is the preparation of calcium carbonate and vitamin D 3 (central carciferol). Calcium is required for many normal functions of, especially the training and maintenance of bones. Vitamin D3 helps the absorption and reel of calcium. Vitamin D3 also stimulates bone formation. Clinical trials showed that calcium and vitamin D3 assistant along with bone growth and help prevent osteoporosis and osteoplasty.
Dosage & Administration of Aristocal D Tablet
Calcium 500 mg and vitamin D3 200 IU tablets: 2 tablets per day or 1 tablet twice a day. It is best to take it after or immediately after a meal to improve absorption.calcium 500 mg and vitamin D3 400 IU tablets: 1 tablet twice a day. It is best to take it after or after meals to improve absorption.
Interaction of Aristocal D Tablet
May interact with antacids and other calcium supplements containing calcium, aluminum or magnesium,calcitriol and other vitamin D3 supplements; digoxin, tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline or oxytetracycline .
Contraindications
Hypercalcemia, hyperthyroidism, kidney stones and kidney stones, and Zollinger Elison syndrome are contraindicated.
Side Effects of Aristocal D Tablet
It is generally well tolerated. If you experience nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, dry mouth, thirst, or increased urination while taking,tell your doctor. Constipation can occur.
