high potency corticosteroid. Corticosteroids decrease inflammation by stabilizing leukocyte lysosomal membranes, preventing release of destructive acid hydrolases from leukocytes; inhibiting macrophage accumulation in inflamed areas; reducing leukocyte adhesion to capillary endothelium; reducing capillary wall permeability and edema formation; decreasing complement components; antagonizing histamine activity and release of kinin from substrates; and reducing fibroblast proliferation, collagen deposition, and subsequent scar tissue formation.
For external use only.
There has been no report of interaction with Clobetasol Propionate ointment and cream. There are no known interactions of Salicylic Acid when used as indicated.

Topical administration of corticosteroids to pregnant animals can cause abnormalities of fetal development. The relevance of this finding to human beings has not been established. The safe use of Clobetasol Propionate during lactation has not been established.
Not for prolonged use in high concentrations and on large areas of the body.
