Butamirate Citrate is a cough suppressant that is used to treat dry (non-productive) cough. A recent viral illness could be the source of your dry cough. Butamirate Citrate suppresses cough by acting directly on the cough area in the brain. After oral treatment, butamirate citrate is swiftly and completely absorbed. The sustained-release pill reaches maximum concentration in 9 hours.
