Indications

Febuxostat is used to treat hyperuricemia in gout patients on a long-term basis. Febuxostat is not recommended for asymptomatic hyperuricemia treatment.

 

Pharmacology

Contraindications

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Classification C. In pregnant women, there are no adequate and well-controlled studies. When given to a nursing woman, Febuxostat should be used with caution.

 

Precautions & Warnings
