Vitamin B1, B6 & B12
Vitamin B1, B6 & B12 is indicated for the treatment of vitamin B1, B6 & B12 deficiency syndrome. It is also indicated for the supportive treatment of neuritis & non-inflammatory diseases of the nerves, e.g.-
Vitamin B1 promotes healthy neurons, boosts mood, and strengthens the heart by converting carbs, fatty acids, and amino acids into energy. Vitamin B6 aids in the formation of red blood cells (RBCs), aids in the production of proteins in cells, manufactures neurotransmitters such as serotonin, and releases stored forms of energy, aids in the prevention of CVS diseases and stroke, aids in the treatment of depression, and aids in the treatment of insomnia. Vitamin B12 is necessary for cell replication and RBC synthesis, as well as preventing anemia, depression, nerve pain, numbness, and tingling, and lowering the risk of heart disease.
The vitamin components are well absorbed when taken orally. It is found in breast milk and is broadly dispersed in most tissues. Thiamine is usually found as diphosphate within the cell. Thiamine is not retained in the body in significant proportions, and excess amounts are eliminated in the urine as intact thiamine or as metabolites. Following oral administration, pyridoxine, pyridoxal, and pyridoxamine are rapidly absorbed from the GIT and transformed to the active forms of pyridoxal phosphate and pyridoxamine phosphate. They are primarily stored in the liver, where they are oxidized to 4-pyridoxic acid and other inactive metabolites that are eliminated in the urine.
