In osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, toothache, trauma, and lumbago, aceclofenac is used to relieve pain and inflammation.

Pharmacology
Apitac 100 is a non-steroidal analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication. It's a strong inhibitor of the cyclooxygenase enzyme, which is involved in prostaglandin synthesis. It is swiftly and fully absorbed after oral administration, leaving the medication unaltered.
Dosage & Administration of Apitac 100
Adults should take one 200 mg Aceclofenac extended-release tablet daily or as directed by their doctor.
Adults should take 100 mg twice daily from a film-coated tablet.
Interaction of Apitac 100
Although no major medication interactions have been identified, patients must be closely monitored when it is taken with:
- Lithium and Digoxin: may increase plasma concentration of lithium and digoxin.
- Diuretics: may interact the activity of diuretics.
- Anticoagulants: may enhance the activity of anticoagulant.
- Methotrexate: may increase the plasma level of methotrexate.
Contraindications
Aceclofenac is not recommended for people who have a known allergy to it or who have asthma episodes triggered by aspirin or NSAIDs.
